This ingredient is a highly pure, naturally derived hydroxystearic acid powder that has a multi-target mode of action helps correct both conspicuous facial pores and age spots.
In vitro:
- Significant stimulation of collagen type I and III –Key factor in conspicuous facial pore correction
Ex vivo:
- Stimulation of Collagen type III
- Reduction of UV induced MMP-1 expression
- Reduction of UV induced p53
- Strong sunburn cell reduction
In vivo:
- Visible and significant reduction of age spot contrast and the appearance of conspicuous facial pores
- In vivo studies have confirmed the outstanding efficacy of BEAUACTIVE® giving skin a younger, improved appearance after the age of 30.
When paired with Retinol GS 50:
- Retinol in combination with BEAUACTIVE® gives a synergistic boost in collagen III by 238%, 5x more than retinol alone.
- Low RETINOL responders are greatly boosted with the support of BEAUACTIVE®
  - 2x less retinol possible: Combination of Retinol at 0.05% with 0.1% BEAUACTIVE® provides the same performance than Retinol at 0.1%.
